Accessibility statement
What has been done to make this site usable for everybody, what is not perfect yet, and how to tell me if something is wrong.
Last updated: 15 August 2026
Commitment
This site is built to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced motion settings. The target standard is WCAG 2.1 level AA.
What has been done
- Semantic HTML with a single logical heading order on every page.
- A skip link to the main content as the first focusable element.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus outline on every interactive element.
- Text and background colour combinations tested to meet at least 4.5:1 for body text.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and empty alt attributes on decorative ones.
- Labels on every form field, not placeholder text alone.
- Text that reflows and remains readable at 200% zoom and on small screens.
- No auto-playing audio or video, and no content that flashes.
Known limitations
- Embedded third-party players from YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts follow their own accessibility behaviour, which I do not control.
- Some large decorative type is set tightly for design reasons. If this causes difficulty, please tell me.
- Older PDF or downloadable material, where published, may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
Tell me if something is wrong
If you find something on this site you cannot use, email rob@thepursuitagency.com with the page address and what went wrong. I will fix it or find another way to get you the content.
Preparation
This statement was prepared on 15 August 2026 following a review of the site against WCAG 2.1 level AA.
